I mean the influx of new players from the foreign scene to BW is probably about as close to zero as it gets. I assume that very few young koreans start to pick up BW today as well. Hence are the pro players that are playing BW are most probably the last generation pro BW players. Add to this that the falling numbers of viewers in Korea (so have I heard at least), and very much so in the rest of the world. I mean I know like 10 people that watch SC2 in Sweden, none of them watched BW before. So we end up with a finite number of players and a dropping interest from the world. In the other corner we have SC2 that are growing like a wet sponge in both interest and in amount of prize pools. Thus BW is living on borrowed time at is more a question of when rather then if BW is going down. Funny thing that the downfall of BW might to some extent actually threaten the development of SC2. If that BW players will dominate SC2 as much as many people believe (I have a more "I believe it when I see it approach") it will actually threaten the development of SC2 as the first large scale global esport. A sport where one country completely dominate all other countries have never and will never be great. Thus the last thing SC2 needs is for Korea to become even more dominating, especially now when Europe is starting (imho  ) to get at least a little bit closer to the Koreans. And although BW was large in Korea it really wasnt that great outside of it. I know this blasphemy according to the users of this forum but you might see that you are not to the most objective crowd in this matter. Given that this is the N1 (by far I would think) largest BW community in the foreign world. It is like going to Manchester City and argue that United is the better team User was temp banned for this post. | ||

Well it kinda makes sense to me because Hwaesung Oz is actually Ideal Space if I'm not mistaken, the first clan/team that Boxer joined before making 4Union with Oov, Rainbow, and some other guys. | ||
