The music, the lighting, everything just fits for me. oov looks too badass. I think this intro video really highlights the "head-to-head, face-to-face" aspect of BW. Also, crazy transparent futuristic computer screens. | ||

(Only counting intros starting from Daum OSL/GOMTV Season 3) Here's my top 3 picks from OSL: 1. Ever OSL 2007 There were no limits on this intro, since it was a cartoon. They were able to do anything that they want without players creating awkward pauses or having bad facial expressions. In addition, the theme fit very well throughout the tournament. Simply the best intro ever. 2. Bacchus OSL 2010 Some may argue that there are better intros, but I really liked this one. Going back in history, OSL made their own media team to make intros/graphics for the Starleagues, starting from Daum OSL. The themes go: Fire -> Cartoon -> (Players having fun? Not sure how I can put this theme in one word) -> (Same here, but showing how buff/tough people were) -> 'Be The Legend' -> 'Save the World' -> Water -> Hand drawing -> Airline -> Alien/Foreign -> 'The Originality' The intro was very well executed, with side theme of the past winners between the players who were in the round of 16 spot. And who can forget the final intro that was almost 40 seconds long? Better than any other final intro I've ever seen. 3. Incruit OSL 'Be The Legend' (cough Boxer cough) Everyone wants to leave their name as OSL winner. Everyone wants their name on the hall of fame at the E Stadium. They want to become the legend. Though players like oov didn't qualify, they put him in the intro simply to go with the theme, and wow. It came out excellent in my opinion. Did I mention that Boxer looks awesome at the end of the intro when he sits down on the chair? Notable mentions: EVER OSL 2009. Very well made intro. I was debating whether to pick this over Incruit. Batoo OSL: Another one that fits the theme very well. Daum OSL. REACHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Maybe I'll do MSL later; however, OSL is better overall. EDIT: Top 3 WORST intros I've seen 3. Bacchus OSL 2009 FINALS (and finals only). Ok we've all seen the cool water effects. And the extra intro that we get for final is... 2 photos of players soaked in water? Seriously? Looking back at this finals intro reminds me of TSL3 intros: they were good until finals. It looked like a 2 second job. Seriously. Take whatever you had previously, and just add new words or 1-2 new pictures. At least Bacchus OSL had a different music. (To TSL3 staff: Intro was awesome until I saw the finals. The games were pretty good though) 2. Avalon MSL: Seriously, you guys say this is an upgrade to MSL, yet its been the same style intro as.... let's count. GOMTV 4th, Lost Saga, Arena, and now this. Seriously, these 4 intros have very similar themes/style, and I simply got BORED over this intro. Thank god the finals intro was.... wait it was basically the same thing nvm. 1. Nate MSL. They just did CG graphics throughout the whole thing until near the end where they BARELY show the players. Not the way to do an intro. Though I was going to put this 2nd worst due to the finals intro (much better, actually fitting to the theme), thinking about the actual finals changed my mind. | ||
