Lost Saga MSL had Nada and Savior, Avalon MSL has neither.
It's clear which MSL sucks more.

No, all those seeds sucked. Tell 'em to shape the fuck up if you want to see the big names make it. Jangbi, Stork, and Luxury didn't deserve to make it, and what to you expect from Nada and Savior? They're in their twilight years.

This could be a lot like the ClubDay MSL but for reverse Protoss and Zergs. Only 3 Ps in the Ro16 (there were only 3 Zs in the Ro16 of the ClubDay), and it's looking like there might not be any Ps in the Ro8 :O
wtf protosses why do you all suddenly suck except for Bisu?

Yeah, he said - Lost Saga MSL sucked.
I don't care about the fact that sAviOr and NaDa are absent from Avalon MSL Round of 16, because I'd rather see players who are going to be doing well as opposed to players who are going to be getting owned (a la sAviOr, Lost Saga MSL Round of 8). Was it cool to see those two in action once more, garnering seeds? Of course. Is the quality of this MSL (and the likely final) going to be better? Absolutely.
Compare:
Lost Saga MSL Round of 16: sAviOr, ZerO, Leta, Luxury, JangBi, Tempest, free, Kwanro, YellOw[ArnC], UpMaGiC, Hwasin, Flash, NaDa, FrOzean, Stork, fOrGG
Avalon MSL Round of 16: EffOrt, Hwasin, Kal, Bisu, PianO, Kwanro, Calm, ZerO, Iris, UpMaGiC, fantasy, Jaedong, Flash, Canata, Pure, fOrGG
Lost Saga MSL's draw: sAviOr, NaDa. All the S-Class guys are eliminated.
Avalon MSL's draw: EffOrt, Jaedong, Bisu, fantasy, Flash. THE cream of the crop, right there.

scforall did all the work for me... THANKS SCFORALL

Every protoss thumbed down outsider and every zerg thumbed down byzantium 3
|
Reaver play owns in outsider

Jaedong vs Canata (pretty locked up match up as Jaedong leads 1-0 against Kal)
EffOrt vs Calm (calm qualified and Effort leading 1-0 vs upmagic)
ZerO vs Kwanro (Both players qualified)
Bisu vs Iris (Both players leading their series 1-0)
Only thing I can see here is Bisu changing to Fantasy but even that wont effect brackets.

Those brackets remind me of ClubDay MSL. Only a lot more red and a lot less green ![](/mirror/smilies/puh2.gif)
Edit: IIRC, Ro8 of Clubday MSL had 5 Protoss, 2 Terrans, and 1 Zerg. XD

^ I was under the impression that the brackets were re-seeded based on KeSPA ranking after this round.

Today's results confirm this. One ZvT, one PvT and 2 ZvZs. Jaedong and Bisu should just walk over their opponents and the two ZvZs have potential to be epic.

Iris has never been a "walkover".
