I rarely find that the case, personally. Are you spamming, using all caps, or asking incredibly stupid questions? (No offense, but some questions are pretty stupid and can easily be found out at this incredible resource called GOOGLE.)
IRC has always been pretty damned helpful to me, you just have to wade through the typical IRC trollolols and other chat going on, etc.; but that's just the nature of an internet chat...

the IRC community is a special one. It is becoming a little crowded with the sc2 crowd. we should seperate out SC2 irc, and just general tl tomfoolery IRC imo.

Well I wanted to have a Nickname Nickname on TL to be CG but then seegee from WCG ultimate gamer made an account and it all went down hill.

I was more referring to things like "I can't track down this image that was on TL" or "What's up with some TL lore thing?" etc
There are things that aren't documented well on the internet as far as TL history and Progaming stuff that is only known by people here because they've been around long enough.
