Way back when I got the game, played on medium settings. I switched to low because fps drops in key battles were game-breakers. I haven't missed any of the graphics, EXCEPT, I hate that little blue dot-ring that my pylons make now. I want to find the one category I have to bump up to get the nice hexagon mat, but I can't identify the right one. Anyone know?

I have everything on low except for models and texture quality and I have the rings.

Models on high
Texture quality on ultra.

It's models on high. I play with everything on low except that for the exact same reason.

One of my favorite fixes to the protoss xD I was also sad about my pretty blue ring of awesome when I switched to full low.

Things just didn't feel right though so I fuddled with things for a few days and now I have a strange mix of low, medium and high.

you get used it. I have been on all low the whole time (laptop), the patch that changed that in the beta made me sad, but now I dont even notice it.

on all low, all warping in units have the same size. was not very pleased to see that ^^
and on some settings (cant recall sry) you get black creep.
maybe someday someone will finde something new (like seeing cloaked units xD )
