Anyone else edit like all of their posts? I swear I've edited like 90% of my posts on TL. I always type it out, and my grammar is usually pretty solid while typing so I never bother to spell check or anything because I know my post will be more than coherent. However, I always re-read my post after I post it and there is usually something about the post I don't like. Either I capitalized some random word that shouldn't be or I forgot a capitalization, or I left out a sentence that helps convey my thought process better. Basically there is always something that irks me about my post and I have to edit it. Anyone else do this consistently?

I dont really edit my posts at all, unless something major is wrong, and i dont really care (as you can see) about grammar or punctuation

Since English is not my mother tongue, I usually end up editing my post most of the time.

IMO, grammar is rubbish.

if you see my posts they usually have that last edit thing.

My personality is that when i say something i think how others would read it. And if i feel they might take it the wrong way i switch it. And sometimes if what i wrote its awkward or a big type than ill go fix things. Or if i wrote with spaces inbetween ill put them together. Also since ive been living in korea for awhile my english got a lot worse so i make mistakes with common spellings so need to fix them.

I do, haha.. But it's generally not a thing where I'm dissatisfied with my original posting, but I generally will write something and be completely happy with it, but after the fact I'll feel the urge to add more to the post, so I'll edit.

I always have to edit because I always proofread after I submit the post for some reason, and see the grammatical errors then. It's the same with college papers. I always print and find the errors afterwards when I'm skimming and end up wasting shittons of paper that way-_-

I''ve got a bad habit of quickly entering a post, proofreading it quickly once, and posting. only to read it again when it's embedded in the actual thread that i should've phrased something differently or something like that :x

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't, I edit it if I made a screw up and only realized it after posting or if there's something I forgot to add.

my posts are sometimes messy when iam listening to something in other language, i click post and then wonder wtf i just wrote.it can be 1 bad word or sentence, but still >_<

I try to avoid the "Last edit" tag, so I use the following process:

Type intellectually edifying words for all to read.
Press Preview.
Increase edification.
Press Preview again.
Repeat until I can press Preview and read from top to bottom without finding anything I can improve.
Press Post.
I still edit my posts sometimes, but I find this process reduces my edit percentage.

I think I pressed Preview twenty times for this post. Preview is like a cloaked version of Edit.

Yep, I do this with like every post too, same reasons. I also tend to add something after re-reading to emphasize a point or address something that I forgot and realized while I re-read.

Somewhat of a perfectionist I guess.

Right now I'm trying really hard to make sure I got it all right so I don't have to edit this post, Lol.

edit- Ah fuck, >.< I think a lot of this post first, proof read after comes from the threat of random internet/computer crashes. Make sure you at least get the main point saved down before you go back and fix it so you don't have to rewrite it all.
