Traditionally, in China people will have this character written on paper (preferably red paper and black ink), and paste it on the door during Chinese New Year. Furthermore it is often done (intentionally) up-side-down, because "good fortune upside-down" sounds the same as "good fortune has arrived". Of course, sometimes people also make it into a necklace (or an amulet, if you will :D). It's perfectly fine, and quite common in fact. I think I have one somewhere. | ||

 The udon was pretty good. Brocoli and green beans put 1 minute before the noodles, 1 minute after the noodles and 4 shrimps (one is underneath couldn't reach it when I started placing stuff lol) and 1 minute before end an egg that I didn't stir too much. Result = crunchy veggies, 2-3 nice big chunks of eggs and reheated flavory shrimps. twas awesome hehe ^^ | ||
