these comics dont really seem to have a point. they're as incoherent as a 4chan thread except they've got stick illustrations instead of image macros. is english not your first language? maybe try comics in spanish - smaller audience perhaps but i bet you know your way around the language. i think i like the art work. theres a lot of potential in them. maybe try less stick figure and more full drawings - you seem to have the talent to go outside of the stick figure cliche. epic/win/boobs/gay does not a funny comic make. so, go the extra mile with the art - you obviously have potential. and plan out a story with a beginning middle and end. this is not to say that all comics must be structured in such a plain way, but you should start there and work your way to more advanced concepts later. or just stick with epic boobs, whatever. | ||

Thx man Yeah, its not our primary language, and we DO want to keep it kinda random * we like that sense of humor*. And stick figures is kinda like the style we are definetely keepin, so srry bout that  And about the story, we've been tryin to work on it more and more on each comic, trying to get it to flow better Thx for the c&c! | ||

It's weird, none of these have actually made me laugh, but for some reason I'm going to keep reading them every time you post a new one. I'm not sure why, maybe its something to do with the "potential" that choboPEon mentioned. | ||

I think the style is really cool. But the script could improve. I'm not any comedy genius to tell you exactly what is going wrong, so I'm sorry I can't give any better feedback. Maybe I'm just dumb and didn't get it, but most of them I just didn't find funny :p | ||

We will give some thought to the "quick and easy...but funny" ideas, like your example. Like I mentioned before, this is only our seventh comic, and this is just the begining. Guys, in the first post, Zero asked for "constructive criticism". comicnoobs.com is WHAT WE DO. We draw it in a "stick figures-style" and we want all comics to be about something "new and random". Of course we will listen if you want to help us improve...examples that we have listen to so far: "improve the script!", or "I dont get the punchline, it needs to be BETTER" But if someone comes and says "I dont like the style. You should change it." and "I dont like it to be random. Change it". Then that's NOT being constructive. Thats like saying "I dont like stacraft, is 2D. Change it." and "I dont like it being an RTS. I want it to be ALL ACTION CLICK CLICK CLICK" My thoughts on the subject. Regards, Leo | ||

One little suggestion that I would like to add: more starcraft comics. I'm sure many people would find it funny if it isn't in depth, just because it's something that is familiar to them. If you happen to have some knowledge of the sc pro-scene, I bet many of us would laugh at stuff like that. Like comic strips comparing Reach to Chuck Norris or mocking Savior for failing in 2009 could get you many comments from TL.net members. Overall I don't think there is much else I could say. Your drawing style is awesome, but your scripts could use a little bit of more thought. | ||
