This was a pretty awesome example of how to use sair reaver. Although it isn’t a pure sair/reaver all out build with little-no ground army, it is an excellent vod of how to transition smoothly from reavers to a ground army. Played at C- level with 250 apm. I had some nice reaver harass, but the life of my reaver could have lasted longer
Build Order
8/9 Pylon
12/17 Forge/nexus(Went Forge)
12/17 2x Cannons – I didn’t know what the zerg was doing so to prepare for the worst, a 4 pool, I made the second cannon really quickly, cutting probe production a little bit.
14/17 Nexus – Cut probes at 14 until you get enough money to build a nexus.
15/17 Pylon
Gateway with next 150 mins
Assimilator with next 100 mins
Cyber Core
Zealot
Second Assimilator
Stargate
Triggers
Robotics facility - with next 200 mins/200 gas. Make it at your natural, or near your choke. That way if the Zerg is going for an aggressive build, you can build a reaver first and it will be in a good position when Zerg attacks assuming you scouted well.
Robo bay – Get it when the shuttle is a little less than halfway done. That will time it so you can build your reaver right before the shuttle pops out.
Shuttle Speed – Get shuttle speed right after you make your first reaver.
Citadel of Adun – Get it at around 65 supply. This is when you should almost have 2 reavers and shuttle speed and this is when you need to start transitioning to your ground army.
Third expansion – Push out to third expansion when first reaver comes.
Adding more gateways – Start adding more gateways as soon as you start building zealot legs. You will have some excess minerals from all the tech units that have been made so you can add some gateways.
Templar Archives – Add that after you add several gateways. Mine was a little delayed because I got distracted with doing other stuff so my templar archives didn’t come till quite late.
Ground army Upgrades – Start that when you start adding gateways.
