its been a while since I shared my last wanna-be wallpaper lame work, so I felt like posting another thingy yet again. The resolution must satisfy you all this time, if not, the image is big enough to be cropped or edited without any problems. So here it is. ah, thank you for your kind words, I dont like my stuff at all and generally I feel quite embarrassed from the images I made not so long ago, but like in everything else improvement comes with practice (btw here's the very first sc-related thing I made... I think I got slightly better since then first shit ". As for the texture.. hm I cant take the hole credit for it. I have some dvds with HQ studio pictures of various items, like fruits, animals, things like that, as well as some nice collection of simple textures, like carpets or bricks or some chains stuff like that. Pro designers use those pre-made samples a lot, because it spares a lot of time and useless effort to make custom brushes and stuff like that. So basically what I did is picking the I would call it carpet looking sample, and made the vector stripes and stars over it, then in PS I did some coloring, its really not that difficult. I'm following your progress in the gfx area since you start doing banners for WL. I think I can tell you some little tricks to improve your work a bit, after that its all about experimenting and finding your style and way of doing things. I never thought I would find myself doing graphics, I've never been a very artsy person when it came to high school projects or w/e, but I do find this to be pretty fun. Would you mind sharing those texture samples with me, or telling me where I could find some? | ||

Since they've changed the name I became a fan of OZ. I'm actually rooting for a JD all-kill tonight. The problem is the picture source. CJ's gallery is really nice and its always easy to work with a decent studio pics. I had a lot to do with Oz's off site because of the WL finals but unfortunately all I found was a bunch of small studio shots which were not suitable for anything wallpaperish. If I'm really up to doing the thing thou, I will use nevergg's awesome stuff  | ||
