The beginning of a career in E-sports
Hello, my name is Daniel Lee, but you can call me Super Daniel Man. Former professional Starcraft team coach and now e-sports commentator with Tasteless for GOMTV, and this is my first blog on Starfeeder.
The year 1999 in October, I can't remember the exact date or the day, but that is when I met up with Guillaume Patry(XDs~grrrr) and Victor Martyn(Everlast), oh yeah our girlfriends were all there too. We had met previously on Battle.net first, and the original intention for the follow up gathering was to have a nice dinner and get to know one another. It really wasn’t a business meeting it was more like a friends get together. I was extremely happy to meet up with people that were fluent in English and I think they were too. You have to understand that Korea was to me, back then a very foreign country.

I always wondered how Daniel Lee got into esports at his, forgive me, age. It really makes sense now. Looking forward to more!

Unless seasons go until 3 and are supposed to reset each year or something. Someone should really make a big gomtv standings thread with history etc like the osl/msl threads.

Flash vs. Stork was the GSI.

What's the difference? Same website, channel, league.... pretty much the same in almost every aspect as far as I can remember.
Also the season with flash vs jaedong seems to be completely absent from the TLPD, why is that?

GSI was a 16 man inviational tournament, not quite the same as the gigantic GSL.
And Season 1 isn't in TLPD because it wasn't Kespa sanctioned, I think.

Yeah, the reason was that the GSI was invite and S1 is considered by most fans as a season of Gom TV, since the last season was S2 (that was the name). So logically...
