[H] My firewall/internet is acting dumb

It's working fine, but when I try to log in to some sites it will deny me access (i.e. mycokerewards.com, blizzard.com/store). I can't even enter AIM. I know when I was installing SC to my computer (from the blizzard store ... some how I got access), it asked me if I wanted to block it, or not. I need this option for my all my other programs. So I can put most of them on unblock. :[ I need your help TL!

Total_Dark United States7 Posts February 11 2009 21:16 GMT #5 Could try turning UAC off if you're running vista. To do this its control panel -> user accounts -> turn user account control on or off -> uncheck the box, apply the changes and restart. The other thing you could try is adding an exception to your firewall to allow aim. To do this its control panel -> windows firewall -> Allow a program through windows firewall (on the left side) Disabling UAC gets rid of the prompt asking if you want to allow or block programs when you run them, so you have to be careful with that.

JudgeMathis Cuba1286 Posts February 11 2009 22:24 GMT #6 I have XP on my comp. I added to the exceptions, but its not connecting. In fact, it goes from "Connecting" to "Configuring" and then it says failed to connect. :-/
