So I am sure most of you have been through or are in the midst of college at this point. We are an aging community after all, well I am now approaching the end of my first semester of college and I feel as though I can accurately judge what my first college experience was like: Grade A Suck.
To start off, I attend a community college near my house and live with my family still, plan on transferring after next semester.
Lets start off with some bullets of the shittacular!
- First few days of semester,
one of my closest childhood friends dies in a freak accident.
- My job decides that every minute I have free from school, I will be at work.
- I gain a girlfriend!
- her dad is psychotic and creates an endless stream of drama for me, culminating in a recent restraining order against me.
- I end up dealing with the police on multiple occasions due to the drama.
- I accidentally Email one of my professors an email titled "Fuck *Name*" due to sleep deprivation and doing papers under extreme pressure. Possibly failed English due to it.
The epic story behind this will be posted later, currently I have to study for my political science class which I have 13 absences for, I require a B or higher to pass for the semester according to the teacher. I have to go find the notes from someone on Friday, read around 60 pages in a book tomorrow and highlight. Then Over the next 4 days I work a total of 34.5 hours. Never getting out before 11pm, with the exception of tomorrow where I get out at 9:30.
Test is on Monday, job is cutting me no breaks in hours to prepare for finals.

thankfully no, but I might have to pay for at least one year now, My parents are paying for it, however they had to pay for a lawyer for me to deal with the charges and restraining order correctly. Which cost me 2500$ from my college fund. My college fund is in stocks and since the stock market is balls now they had to take out a larger majority of them to pay for my lawyer since they are of possibly the lowest value right now.
Also funfact: Two nights ago my girlfriend got arrested by the police for harassment. Her dad called the cops on her because she told him to "suck my dick" What happened was she came home late from work because she was getting her friend a Birthday present and came home and her parents yelled at her and took away her cable box and dvd player from her room. They have already taken her phone and they have a lot of tension because she hates them for a bunch of reasons, the most recent being a restraining order against me.
He called the cops on her, had her put in a holding cell over night, and now she is living with my cousin.

Write a memoir. Hope you're holding out okay. This is entertaining, though I wish you didn't have to go through this. Parents suck at this age.

I know this is the last thing you'll ever want to hear, and may seem impossible to you right now, but... you need to break it off with this girl. It's bad news, and no good can come from it. I understand that it may be neither of your faults, but nothing truely worthwhile can come from the relationship.

oh jeez, break up with the girl now! You have absolutely no time for her! Handle with care though because she is going through a lot of stress with her parents and may even snap from all of the shit. After that focus 100% on college! Your job may be important but you really need college WAY more, do NOT piss off any more teachers. I also recommend some yoga or meditation classes to deal with all of the shit because you do not want your personal life, problems, or feelings to hinder your college education. Most importantly: get lot's of sleep! I cannot stress this enough! Find any time you can to add to your total sleeping time, sleep through weekend if you need to. I guarantee you that once you are well rested you will work twice as better than without a well rested mind. GL! You'll need it!

Thanks Haji, I am just going to relax for the rest of the night, tomorrow starts hell. I just want some downtime before I go a little crazy over the next few days. but thats a better idea, it would make everything more clear and wouldn't ruin the books resale value :D

I thought he was talking about the book reading I have to do, where I thought I said I was highlighting stuff.
I have little to no notes for this test. The last test was on last friday, the next test is this Monday. I this test (1/3rd of grade) is based on 5 days of notes apparently. A lot of which I have missed.

The gf sounds like a bigger problem than what she is worth tbh. I wouldn't let her get in your way. I don't know how well that would go over though...

What's up with all these depressing threads? It's making me depressed. I'm grateful my finals went very easy.
I didn't even study, but then again classes weren't very difficult, and even if I fucked up my finals I'd still have A/B's in my classes.
Hope things pick up!
PS: If you don't love the girl, get her out of your fucking life. Seriously..
