It would be funny if the loser typed 'gg' but then the winner accidentally responded with 'ff' or 'GG' or something like that and got disqualified. Well I remember that Backho types 'zizi yo' even when he wins, so they cant' be too strict.

I understand that they might be afraid of swearing, but banning players for typing anything is simply retarded. The players could always say something interesting, even a "^^" after some nice action could be interesting - in terms of marketing. I remember that in some old Boxer-Nada match, that was made for fun, Boxer typed something funny in Korean (something regarding Nada's name, or whatever). This lead to people talking about the game - so probably more people would watch them. Does anyone have any ideas why the leagues have so bad marketing skills?

It just adds a lot of legitimacy to the game if you don't allow the players to joke around like it's some casual hobby. My point seems to prove itself if you look at more casual events, like bnet attack, or random fun little tourneys where they are allowed to talk.

Of course if you type something inside game and kEspa referee maybe thinks that he/she has problems and pauses game (because typing is not allowed, unless you type "pp" for pause). There might be situation when P letter might be broken. You don't need that often P letter as zerg or protoss cant make probes because P is broken etc.

Doesnt matter if he would win it or not. I think he HAS to leave the game after he types gg anyway. But otherwise it doesnt really matter because the other play can just stop playing and walk away ~~~
