then it is officially not my fault. My absentee ballot is in the mail, my vote is for Barack Obama, and here's to Delaware's 3 electoral votes going blue!

I'm ditching school if McCain is elected. Also, looking for life in Canada, or Europe.

It's your fault for not taking a more pro-active stance in the electoral process.
What I mean is you should go assassinate him.
No I'm never serious.

I've learned not to think about this. I was mad when WBush got re-elected (if I was old enough to vote I woulda been mad when Bush got elected the first time also)

So glad this isn't happening...

But I would move to Hong Kong and live with my uncle, then marry some girl to get status as a permanent resident.

My first election I get to vote in, but it won't really matter since I'm in California.

Same thing, but replace California with Illinois, Obama's home state.

delaware isn't worthless haha i love it

i'll be honest i think the way that nebraska and maine do it makes perfect sense
if you win a state, then you get the 2 senator votes, and then you get the house vote if you win a particular district of the state
i wonder how that would have changed election results in the past

That's like cutting a huge fart and walking out of the room. You don't give people guns and create an insanely high demand for diamonds and then take the passive agressive approach "just let them fight it out, they'll run out of steam soon enough!".

Problems never go away by ignoring them, otherwise it wouldn't really be a problem but a mild annoyance.

Did I say we should ignore the problem? No, I did not. If you feel those problems are very important, then donate some money to causes you feel will help out with them. But don't you dare try to force me to allocate my money to causes I do not agree with, or to the furthering of imperialistic governmental interference around the world which I could never philosophically agree with.

I want McCain to be elected...not sure why this site is so god damn uber liberal/socialist. I mean, McCain was praised in 2000 for his moderation. Obviously hes been a hell of a lot more partisan lately, but its politics, hes trying to convince Conservatives and make a solid distinction between him and Obama. I don't care if your for Obama, but acting as if McCain is a big bad neo con is beyond ignorant.

I think you are partly ignorant to how the internet works tbh...

Wouldn't you at least agree that a website of this nature would tend to lean liberal? And on the internet, when there is an issue like this, the other side gets demonized for almost no reason. It shouldn't be taken as personally as if you did it in real life etc.

Obviously websites are largely concentrated on one particular ideology, even more so when a game is branded to a particular audience. Nonetheless, I've been on many gaming forums, and while virtually every time the Conservatives were a minority, it was never to the point where I actually thought there was no Conservatives. I don't know, just seems a bit more pronounced here.

And how am I taking it personally?

Why the hell are you trying to argue with me here when you're so clueless on the matter?

You're not saying that we should ignore it, you're saying we shouldn't do anything about it (twice), which is the same thing.

Preferrably stay the fuck out of it and not exacerbate problems. See: Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.

or to the furthering of imperialistic governmental interference around the world

Shitloads of donated money ends up in the hands of criminal warlords, and it still wouldn't help the problem at all.

Imperialistic governmental interference, like ..... is this a really bad joke or something? I hope you're trolling me or something. Didn't we create these problems? God just shut up already. Your 'philosophy' has one huge flaw: it's based on having no testicles.

I couldn't care less who wins, i think shit times are ahead anyway. I'm hoping for Obama being the better of two evils, but it almost seems like McCains Campaign has sabotaged itself which makes me awfully suspicious...but that might just be the acid and my tinfoil hat!

All i know is that If net censorship goes ahead in my country, it will be the last straw, if information and ideas are under threat then there is no political solution to any problem, if information can no longer be used to liberate people. I'm gonna have to push for military victory.

I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours (Stephen Roberts)

Why were you mad?

I believed that the American people should have overwhelmingly not voted for him so long as his opponent wasn't like Saddam Hussein / Osama

I would like to see peace in Africa in my lifetime.

Question is what are we gonna do about it.

Preferrably stay the fuck out of it and not exacerbate problems. See: Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.

Why the hell are you trying to argue with me here when you're so clueless on the matter?

You're not saying that we should ignore it, you're saying we shouldn't do anything about it (twice), which is the same thing.

What retarded governmental interference created cannot be fixed by the same flawed approach. We, individually, did not create these problems. I did not vote on the issue of sending weapons to warlords in random countries I have no dealings with. I did not vote to interfere in politics and push agendas detrimental people of all countries involved. Who did then? Governments. Collections of people who are supposedly there to serve us, but who actually only serve one purpose: preserving their authority to govern. And they're doing a damn great job of it, it would seem, because now you seek their help in order to eradicate a problem they originally created.

So did we create these problems? Certainly some of us did if you include governmental officials as members of society. I will not, however, allow you to force the responsibility of cleaning it up onto me, as they already forced me to be involved in it in the first place by utilizing my tax money to fund their endeavors.

I told you to donate money to organizations that would help in your cause. If the money you donate ends up helping the problem rather than the solution, then I don't think you've picked the right organization and you might want to rethink that choice. I am without a doubt that organizations of individuals voluntarily contributing to a cause would be supremely more effective than any governmental operation.

When you plead with the government to follow your course of action, you plead with it to give you special privilege. But why is your course of action better than mine? Because more people agree with you? Does that make it morally right to force me to follow your course? If the popular idea of the day was to support the warlords in these areas, and this was the thing so many people were lobbying governments for, would you be so happy to allow majority rule?

If wanting fairness and less "looting-behavior" out of my government means I have no testicles, then so be it.
Can you jam with the console cowboys in cyberspace?

Ok for all of you who suggest electing McCain is a good idea......umm....Lets not forget that Palin is his VP.

"I'm the mayor, I can do whatever I want until the courts tell me I can't.'" --Sarah Palin, as quoted by former City Council Member Nick Carney, after he raised objections about the $50,000 she spent renovating the mayor's office without approval of the city council

"Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending soldiers out on a task that is from God. That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God's plan." –Sarah Pailn, on the Iraq war, speaking to students at the Wasilla Assembly of God, June 2008

"I don't know if you're going to use the word 'terrorist' there." --Sarah Palin, asked if people who bomb abortion clinics are terrorists, NBC News interview, Oct. 23, 2008

Agreed. I really don't know too much about the presidential candidates but the rigorous selection process the two parties have in which they select their candidate suggests that both are qualified for the job. Palin on the other hand seems incredibly ignorant.

Man, the pause in the middle that shows up before you click it.
That is a good representation.
Social Justice is a fools errand. May all the adherents at its church be thwarted. Of all the religions I have come across, it is by far the most detestable.
