On August 28 2008 14:57 micronesia wrote: I've brought it up with my doctor virtually ever visit since middle school and they've never gone beyond providing advice... probably cuz it's a common complaint but it's also common for teenagers to not take the proper measures for it. if you look up all the advice on the net about how to get a good sleep schedule going, and try all of it, and tell your doctor in a serious tone everything you have tried, then he'd probably care more. sleep/wake same time every day. no excessive caffeine or late afternoon++ caffeine. regular exercise. pre-sleep routine. bright light while awake, dim light only for sleep time. etc etc etc. do it all strictly for a couple weeks and if you still have problems, then medication is a consideration | ||
