so i met this girl at some friends meeting. She's pretty much what i like about a woman's personality. So a week later i invited her to get an ice cream but she refused, maybe i made the invitation with a little rush...
so i speak to the experience to give me advice on how to get around the situation. Maybe i should just casually chat over msn a bit more and go out with her and friends, to get her know more and invite her again, or just let it go. I think the first time we met i liked her so at least the look odds are on my side. She's also single after a long (3+ years) relationship, that ended not too long ago, maybe she's waiting a little until finding new couple

EDIT: btw Nightmare she'll definitely need time to get over that 3 year relationship So a few things could happen, she could use you to forget about the relationship (which doesn't seem like its going to happen after that confrontation) or you could spend loads of time with her and listen to all her chatter about emotions and then when you finally think shes completely ready to start a new relationship she'll say to you "I see you as my brother" and you just wasted all your time. So best to just move on with the next.
