Just going to fast forward to the present.
One of the things that I've been ashamed about in my life has always been my weight. In 2004, I used to be 16 years old with already 276 LBS.
This was back in 2004 at World Cyber Games Miami Qualifiers for Starcraft.
I always said I was going to lose weight, but I was never fully committed. For example, in my senior year of high school(2006) I said I was going to lose weight. The highest I've went was 20 pounds, and stayed 256 lbs the whole senior year. Once, I left high school I stayed the same weight, but I noticed that I was going back to my old eating habits.
In 2007, I went back to weighing 276 lbs. Starting in November 2007, I've noticed that I needed to do some changes in my life. But, I didn't really do much until January of 2008.
Since January, I've been going to the gym everyday, not drinking soda, stop eating chips, going to burger king, and other fast foods spots. I would noticed that I'd drop weight easily(without much cardio at the beginning of the month).
Now it's April 10th, 2008. I've lost 41 pounds, and I still want to lose another 35 more pounds to hit 200(for just a little bit before I really start doing harder work to get to 175). I used to not be able to lift the same amount of weights(245 lbs bench press, about 115-135 lbs on curl). I'm I can jog 2 miles without stopping(before I couldn't run 2 laps around a track).
So why am I posting this? For one, I feel very good about the results I'm doing. Secondly, I feel that if I can lose weight anyone else can(if they are heavy :D). Plus, I figured I would continue to post my advances in my weight loss. I feel like the more support I get, the stronger I'll become to reaching my goals.
This is what I look about 5-6 lbs ago(which isn't really a big change lol).
Anyways, till next time!

Keep it up! There is really no reason (other than a thyroid issue) why anyone should be overweight. Work out, eat right, be healthy and you can look however you want.

wow that johnstone site is awesome, thanks

Congrats! Losing weight is really tough for some people and requires considerable life changes. Glad to see you're making the effort, stick with it.

Fat people are immoral.
At this rate you won't be immoral much longer.

Real noble goal dude gl with it. But most importantly, do you feel mentally and physcially healthier?
Cause I know my dad is overweight and he had like swollen feet and hearing problems.

Anyway, kudos to you. The improvement is huge, and really noticeable. GJ

Anyone can be healthy and fit, but there are different body types which are predetermined by genetics. And body fat is the real measure of condition, not weight.
Nice work to the OP. It'll start getting harder from here on out.

Mentally, I feel the same. Physically, I can see myself a lot healthier. It actually took me 40 lbs to see a big difference in my body. My body is shaping up with my muscles. So, its all good. ;D

Congrats, you look like a whole new person between photo 1 and photos 2/3.

Good job! It's nice to see results after you put a lot of tears and sweat into something.
