I will try to blog about my adventure in the 3.5k solo que.

I really want to raise my mmr, so I will try hard this patch. I have tried to get higher rank for sometime. But I think I have had a bad strategy.

I always picked last before, becasue I thought that would made a dig difference. Getting a good lastpick since I lose so many games thanks to my teammates not trying as hard.

I also always encourage my team to call picks and/or lanes.

This time I have a new strategy, I will try to play core every single game and carry my team to victory.Hopefully I will get alot better at midding and playing carry in the meanwhile.

Okay I had the time to play 4 games today.
I lost 2 (-48)
I won 2 (+48)

I felt that the game I lost I had really bad luck with my teammates. One game I played with a spectre and Lion and they lost their lane so hard. The game contunied with Spectre not farming and dying alot.
The other game I lost I had an Enigma in my team that literally got 1 black hole off and it was on a solo target.

The games I won was one game with Invoker mid, I had a really tough time mid because their supports roamed alot, but they could not kill me and thus they ended up with 2 underleveld supports which made us win big time midgame.

I will continue my quest tomorrow. Hopefully I will get some better teammates and end up with more then +/-0 mmr points

Im currently at 3512 mmr

I ended up stopping playing when I got stuck at a certain MMR, and didn't improve for like a year of casual playing, so I'm rooting for you to make progress

Here is my bit of advice, I recently climbed from 3600 to 4100 so I did what you are trying to do.

Pick a role and play it exclusively, practice makes perfect and Dota requires a ton of practice. My second suggestion goes with the first, pick a handful of heroes for the role and play them over and over till you know them by heart.

I've played ranked essentially five heroes, witch doctor, bane, vengeful spirit, bounty hunter and jakiro. Pick five for your role, practice them and know them. That will help you advance.

Also, be positive, never flame, it doesn't help. And good luck again, you can do it!

Thanks for the advice, I might end up doing that. I really feel that one of my strength is my flexibility. I can pretty much play any hero in the game and every role quite good. I would even say my best role is support/roamer but I feel I have a higher chance to win if I can impact the game more.
