I made my way over to the final day of the Press Start LAN that was held at UC Irvine this past weekend. The event had a very early-Dreamhack sort of feeling to it, and it was really cool to see a local event scaled up to such a size. I primarily went to shoot photos of the Melee competition, but shots of other things and events from that day made it here as well.

You'll notice that there's quite a bit of Jaedong here. He entered the tournament and won it handily, only dropping a single map to an opponent throughout the entire weekend. On the last day, shindigs arrived wearing a Hwaseung Oz jacket. After having a photo taken with him, Jaedong asked if he could wear the old jersey, and they exchanged for another photo. The rush that came during those few seconds mirrored that when I entered Jamsil a few months ago. Honestly pretty cool.

KBBQ after was quite good. Shoutouts to Ken, JD, Carlton, Alan, and Cameron.

Probably a good thing that Zhu was as HFLAN, or else we would have had to pry him off of Jaedong.
