Rate my (poor) play?

Anyone help out a protoss newb. I got promoted into silver and am sitting on about a 50-50 WL ratio now. I'm fairly happy with how I've been improving, but I find it difficult to isolate faults and improve on them. I uploaded a replay of a recent match - I won it, but I'd like to know how I could have done better. Would anyone like to give it a watch and help me out?

Dude, you are in the wrong thread. If you want criticism post it in SC2 Strategy: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/sc2-strategy/ or (and this might be better) in the Protoss Help Me Thread.

If you are going to do it, don't post a game you won. That's covert chest thumping. And no-one gives a shit how well you are doing in Silver (or SC2 for that matter). Make an effort to identify your faults and where you could improve and say it in your post. Then people will be more likely to watch your replay and help you out.

I am no PvP expert by any means BUT there are a few things that stand out, namely your first scout to look for proxies is a bit early. At the 9 minute mark you are both still one basing, you are granted spending better than he is, but neither is stellar and at the same time increment, you have no idea what his base even looks like. Hallucination is your friend.

At the same time, neither of you has committed to any tech route, a robo, twilight or what have you should have been down probably circa, seven minutes, if not earlier. What you're really seeing is how effective robo is against pure stalker. Your opponent is a bit daft for going after shields after 1-1, and going double star gate without using them or being able to afford them. Your tech path is more sensible, but slower than it should be.

Neither of you makes an MSC, which is oversight to say the least. You start making colossus without range started, at the same 19 minute mark you still have no obs.
