Nice! I'll be sure to pay attention to that part when I go see the movie. Once that part comes on, I'll be like "HEY, I know the guy who animated that part!" and everyone else in the theatre will be like "Shush!"

Haha this is awesome. Good work man! That is really exciting!
|
Awesome, congrats!! Will look out for it.

Yeah, whenever anybody asks me what I did at MPC Vancouver I just say "Eels."

Actually, we're gonna combine the words to form Eelmator.

Wow, awesome! How long did it take you from the very beginning (planning etc) to finish the clip?
|
I remember the exact scene :D good job.

I also remember watching the eel close to the bottom of the screen ! Good job !!

Sweet. Saw it. Well done!

That's really awesome, make sure to find your name in the credits too!

That is quite possibly one of the most iconic parts of the movie. Nice!
I was pleasantly surprised by the movie. I don't normally like action movies, but it was pretty good

This was quite early in my career, so overall it was a learning process and took much longer than it would have taken if I did it again today

The one that swims against the current back towards the tank is definitely the easiest one to see and draws the eye. It was also the first one that got approved
There's actually like ten eels or something, and my layout in total had like fifteen. By the time you put all the CG water and dark lighting and stuff in there though, you only really see a few of them (I only saw like 5 in theatre, and I knew exactly where they all were!) I know people who spent months on beautiful animation on Life of Pi, only to go see it in theatre and realize that it was completely hidden by a wave coming over the ship
