EPTTime for a new blog again. Heh havent blogged in 7 months. I just havent had anything to share with you guys. Most of you dont know me so i might aswell start off by saying a few words about me.
My name is Jan. Im a 17 year old Norwegian who likes cycling, tv and games and last but not least i enjoy to read and post on various different forums. Im in my second last year of school hoping to be a computer engineer when i graduate. With that said i might aswell tell you why im making this blog today. And it's not really a blog about anything of importance but if just 1 person here finds any of this interesting then its not a waste of time for me.
I wanna talk about changes today, because in the next few years my life is most likely going to change alot. I only have 2 months left of this semester. I've applied for the schools and the line of work i want to get into so im curious to see where i end up. Next year is going to be my last year in school and after that im going to be heading into the worklife. It's kind of weird to think about it. I've always been in school and now soon it'll all be done. I'm already working 1 day a week to get a taste of what the work life is like. i've learned alot about life since last year. I've gotten a better scent of what i want to do with my life. But i still have to wait to see, i still don't know which school that ends up taking me in. So while im waiting for that im just enjoying life in a relaxed manner. It's spring now anyway and the weather is getting better day by day. Wich means that the cycling season is officialy here which is awesome. Been waiting for that for a few months now.
But anyways change doesn't have to be about life though now that im talking about it. Change also occurs in gaming terms too. Because honestly i dont game that much anymore. And it's crazy to think about it. I've also been pretty hardcore on gaming. Playing all kinds of games as a kid. It was so fun, but now it's not that fun anymore i just dont feel the magic anymore. Most games nowadays just feel dull when i play them. Only game i really play these days is mw2. It's the only game that feels worthwile to play. Fun thing is i dont even know why i still like mw2 but its still fun to play after all these years. Even SCII feels dull nowadays. I've tried to get back into 1v1 but it's not fun to see how a platinum player like me is so rusty these days that i even lose to golds. So i've kinda given up on that. I dont think ill ever return to SCII so i think it's just going to end up being a memory from the past. But i still hang around on TL although i only post every 2 months or so.
And that kinda concludes my somewhat poorly structured and written blog.
One more thing though. If you read all of this then i just want to say that don't look on my blogs as anything serious. All im doing is sharing a few stories and experiences from my life. Cause that's all it is. It's just a blog after all.
You just have to "shop around" and find another game that re-ignites your passion! Myself, personally, Super Smash Bros Melee has just consumed my life these past few weeks. I have fond memories of it as a kid, but playing with my buddies online is so much fun! I never would have guessed that I'd be having so much fun playing Smash, but to each their own. Keep plugging away!
