I am happy to announce the newest addition to our line up: Our new support player Smealy!
After a couple of trial games we decided he is the perfect addition to our team and is not just able to replace Beana but can show a lot of improvement to even go far beyond that.
He is a British pub player who already has some competitive experience competing on a lan including the British local team back then knows as Enigma.
We are all looking forward to competing in several online tournaments soon and prepare to make the jump into the pro scene of Dota 2.
So we're all happy to welcome Smealy to Distortion and hope we can go very far in the future.
In the end some short sentences from our new player:
Hey guys I’m Will or better known as Smealy. A few days ago I was given the opportunity to join a team which recently had a member leave. Immediately I jumped at the offer as I have been looking for a team for a while now. Before the first game we played together I was little nervous which is to be expected, but now I feel in a more comfortable position. Position 4/5 is the role I will be playing which I feel is one of my strongest roles. Hard work and dedication is the key now with prospects of one day going to a LAN tournament and competing for money. I hope that with the team we can become more skilled and expand on our knowledge of the game. I want to thank my new team mates again for this opportunity and wish us the best of luck for the future!
