It has been a looooooooong time since I wrote the last one.
Why?
We disbanded!
Nah joking ^.^
Long was missing and due to Starladder being moved to today we did not practice and just waited for Long to come back and therefore I did not really have the motivation to write a blog entry about nothing.
So why did I do it now?
As I said..Epic comeback..^^
Some of you might have already known it when I mentioned Starladder started today so yeah.
WE GOT FUCKING FIRST IN OUR GROUP!!!!!
After we checked out our opponents and realised that one of them had a ranking of 4.3k, one a ranking of about our skill level and the last one unranked, we were afraid we might just lose all of our games and get completely shut down in the first stage.
But we did it!
Going into the first game we knew we had to win it because we were playing against the ones on our skill level.
Knowing it was a best of one did not really make it easier.
So the draft started and because of them probably drafting a very specific line up we managed to pick up Dark-Seer, Nyx and Rubick.
When they realised that we were completely crushing the Windrunner on the off-lane they rotated to run dual lanes and in my opinion this meant their death.
As a Dark Seer I was having a great time laning against Sven and Warlock so I ended up winning my lane.
On the other side Chippy and Beana gave the dual lane what they needed and catapulted them right back to their fountain several times (with a little bit of help..Robin..*cough*) providing the best farming environment ever for Long.
Having a farmed Luna and Dark Seer we ended up winning the game after 24 minutes and went straight for the second game of the day.
The second game was probably the most stressful Dota game I have ever played in my life.
It was an one hour game so if you want to know what actually happened just watch the first person stream video.
Basically what happened was a total brain fart by me during the draft picking an AM to counter the Storm Spirit-Naix combo by them.
Obviously I didn't realise that we gave them exactly the chance they needed with our melee carry.
Shadow Demon's Purge was completely useless aswell and therefore we could outfarm and outplay them as much as we wanted to we got completely owned by a Naix that was 4 levels and 3k gold behind the AM.
We were winning team fight after team fight because of Robin's exceptional play on the Magnus hitting several 5 men Rp's.
But what did it help? They were so far behind in levels that they respawned "instantly" and were therefore able to defend their towers over and over again.
The desperation was growing more and more in my head and I went through all the possibillities we still had.
In the end I decided to wait for AM's Butterfly and trust Robin's skills on the Magnus to hit another great RP.
While Long was farming the Anti-Mage up Storm Spirit and Naix got more and more pick-offs on me (on the QOP) and the supports and when we started losing Rosh control even though being on the Dire side I really started to feel a bit desperate.
And when I finally started to believe the game slipped away from us it happened.
We actually killed them one more time and managed to get bottom rax and from there on it all went uphill again.
Well..As I said, you can watch it if you want to know how the game played out in detail.
We ended up getting a default win from our third opponent and therefore finished our group with a 3:0, showing a very convincing performance which let's us hope to do well in the second group stage.
Okay so I am basically done with this blog entry and I will update you more regularly now but at this point I just want to use this to flame my team mates a bit.
So we just won a group that we expected to lose horribly and we are all very happy and especially I was SUPER exhausted because I took this very serious and all.
So I got some food and then we decided to play some all pick games right.
Just to chill out a bit. Nothing serious.
So we lose the first game because the geniuses decide to go Dagon on every hero.
Alright..One game..It's fine..It can happen.
We go for the next one and this time we decided to go for a legit all Dagon line up and picked the heroes for it. Well..I did..Because we decided to go for Rosh first, too so we had a Sylla and Juggernaut. So what happened?
Riiiiiight! We lost!!!!!
So what do we do now? I mean we just won a Starladder group and we're now losing to random pubs.
Eventually we decided we have to win a game to prove ourselves. What happened?
We ended up putting me on the Bloodseeker and going 5 men Force Staff.
Well..We planned to go 5-men force staff.
In the end we got crushed by a Naix-Spirit Breaker.
Nice team mates nice!

Edit: I just checked it. We were the most dominant team in first group stage in the whole Starladder.
