For some reason I feel really good about our last practice.
I am now in Portugal for the next 9 days and obviously the first Thing I thought about was Setting up my gaming gear.
When I arrived at my room (really it's a house..Freaking huge house) I was very very pleased.
Suddenly I feel like playing Bounty Hunter that often made a lot of sense..
There is a big living room with a huge flat screen in it. Next to the chimney (why is there a chimney? It's like 23° Celsius here..) there is a dining table and next to that a big kitchen.
Going upstairs there are three bedrooms with one double bed and a table in each one of them.
Also attached to every bedroom is a big bathroom.
Another story up is the terrace with sea view and a BBQ.
So far so good..Everything seems to be perfect. Obviously it's not.
Things are never perfect.
When I first set everything up I was very happy because of the fast internet connection but soon I had to realise that I will have to deal with lags nonetheless.
I brought the shitty laptop of my father with me having in mind that it can handle SC2.
Unfortunately when I started a bot game and I tried to blink with my Anti-Mage the only thing I saw was..Well..I don't want to call it a dia show...But hey..It was :/
So some time later practice started and I also was one hour late because I did not know that Portugal is in another time-zone..
I picked Darkseer for me because you really don't Need skill to lane that shit and so it was.
Laning went well for me and my team owned the shit out of the other one in the first game.
In the second game we went up against an aggressive tri-lane and unfortunately the Gyro got a lot of early kills because Beana is super new to Dota and had never seen that hero before.
Well..I was laning against a Windrunner and even though I thought she should own me I won my lane massively for some reason.
I had a lot of farm and so we went into the team fighting "stage".
Being massively behind on the carries (also due to Robin's horrible Kunka mid..Seriously man..xD) we got owned in the teamfights too because I could not hit a single wall. (Yeah..Lags are really that bad..)
So why do I feel positive about practice then?
Well..My team played as a 4 in both games.
I could not make ANY calls because I just didn't see the game properly and I did not hit ANY walls in both games.
That is why I am pretty much sure that we would have won the first game with ease had I been at home with a good PC.
(I would have picked Clinkz as the solo easy laner for me>>>With my massive farm I had destroyed everything in my way)
And well..We won the first game really without me...I guess this is really great.
Our ranking floats somewhere around 3200 last time I looked at it which is really sad because I remember us having a much higher ranking when Ryan was still in the team..Even though we're much better with our current team.
I guess it is because of Beana's low MMR.
If I have the time I will take some photos of Portugal and show them to you guys and I will also take a photo of my gaming area because the table is too small :/ Looks quite funny :D
Thanks for reading again and I hope you enjoy your day!
Questions? I'm addicted to that shit..Even during my holidays..Ask me! :D
NoLuck out!
