DOxCptCool: Well lets see I honestly have zero idea of how i came up with it I used it when i played Warcraft 3 as a little kid and its just stuck with me, i guess i think its kind of an interesting name. So i decided to keep it for sc2

DOxCptCool: I remember when me and my brothers used to play worms Armageddon my name was always "Mr. BigHands" and i really have no idea why.
I think i was just trying to think of a name when i was like eleven, and because i was a lame eleven year old "CptCool" was the best one i could think of plus i mean, I am like REALLY cool....right?

DOxReyder: your about as cool as Brazil is on a typical Monday

DOxReyder: im sure it compensates for other aspects your not as fortunate with

DOxCptCool: hahahah that would be a good one

DOxCptCool: i like it

DOxReyder: awesome i knew i was right

DOxCptCool: So when i was a youngling i was introduced to starcraft vanilla and brood war
I was probably around eleven when i first started playing those two and i just loved it

I played through each campaign multiple times but sooner or later i lost interest because mulitplayer just wasn't for me back then however once i heard about the announcement of starcraft 2, i totally nerded out about it.

DOxCptCool: I was so excited. I would check the website like once a say, looking for new pictures, looking for everything about starcraft that i could find on the internet
And keep in mind this was like a year and a half before it was released

DOxReyder: Join the club brother I think we were about on the same obsessive level back then.

DOxCptCool: Yeah it was bad, i still am to an extent! Though i was mostly a campaign player when sc2 was released I decided to delve into the mulitplayer. I actually reached gold league my first season as a Terran. All i did was bunker rushes -_- . I was so bad. After that first season i took a break from the game until about January of last year. I started playing more and more ladder, starting in bronze. I decided to switch to protoss and then right after that i joined Dark Onyx. And man its been really fun.

DOxReyder: O how i miss the bunker rushes

DOxCptCool: Well i left initially because i was just not getting better, i had been demoted to bronze and i really didn't know any fundamentals. I started playing alot of other different games: The Total war games, Battlefield 3, and even...dare i say...Call of Duty black ops...but i felt that none of them really did it for me like starcraft did. So i decided i was gonna study the game a bit and i began watching pros and different casts like all the time. Sooner or later i found myself playing again and getting consistently better.

DOxCptCool: The real main reason i joined dark onyx is because i really had no friends that played, or really even knew, starcraft. I thought that if i could make Starcraft a more social experience i could not only have alot more fun, but also get alot better.

DOxReyder: Well though those other games can be fun I believe you made the right decision returning to SC2.

DOxReyder: I personally love the Total War games

DOxCptCool: Oh yeah...the only thing is...my computer was really crappy back in those days. So i didn't have the graphics capacity to play any of the battles. So i basically just sim'd every battle. That's the way i liked it though!

DOxReyder: lol well hey i bet you wont alot

DOxCptCool: Lets just say, Russia had its golden age under my reign :D

DOxCptCool: Well ever since ive joined DOx i have really enjoyed it. There really haven't been any moments where i have felt like joining was a mistake. Ive gotten ALOT better at starcraft (Believe it or not lol) and Ive made a good amount of buddies that share in my passion for the game. There's hasn't been dude in this clan that i haven't liked.

DOxReyder:

DOxReyder: I'm super glad to hear that and it has been quite the enjoyable experience for all of us since you've joined.

DOxCptCool: I really really really would like to say that im some sort of crazy, aggressive pro-strat, whacky build order kind of player...but i am not...I am your typical Protoss death ball player. My goal in basically every game that I don't do some sort of timing in, is to get my 200/200 3/3 death ball and then to stomp you. My macro is solid and my micro is getting better every day. I love using a disproportionate amount of High Templar late game just for storms. However it is sometimes difficult to get where i want to be, once i've got my death ball there's usually no stopping me.

DOxReyder: -_- death ball

DOxCptCool: My best match up by far would be PvT. I am honestly convinced by win rate in this match up is above 80%. I feel that this match up is really hard for terrans to deal with. They are basically forced to go biological, so it is nice to know your opponents unit composition off the bat. From there i usually can just death ball up on 3 bases pretty easily while defending from drops and such. And once i hit the point in the game around seventeen minutes where i have 3/3 colossus HTs archons and all that. I find it quite easy from that point.

DOxCptCool: My worst match up is PvZ. This is a match up I am honestly convinced that i have a 30% win rate in. I really rely heavily on timing attacks in this match up because i struggle with the micro involved in late/mid game confrontations with Zerg. I have extensive trouble with mutalisk harass and nydus worms because of my lack of map awareness. The only bright spot for me in this catchup is my blink micro, which i feel like is really improving.

DOxCptCool: Otherwise, facing a zerg is like (puke)

DOxReyder: Ha now we all know who to beat you hehe

DOxCptCool: Trust me you don't need my help :D

DOxReyder: but i'm sure in our practices we can improve your endgame pvz

DOxCptCool: Oh yeah. My favorite player is the amazing Grubby. He is just awesome. I really like the way he conducts himself, hes never to cocky, he never complains about the game. He also played alot of warcraft 3 as did I. He is just so damn likeable and he is really getting good at sc2. As far as teams go, i don't really root for teams as much as players, so i don't really have a favorite.

DOxCptCool: Yes i do, I have two brothers named Hank and Will. Hank is 27 and Will is 24

DOxReyder: Do your brothers play SC2 as well

DOxCptCool: Lol no. My brother Will played warcraft 2 and 3 and really introduced me to the RTS genre but they don't play RTS games as far as i know anymore

DOxReyder: well little brother get them back! MOAR ESPORTS!

DOxCptCool: I am from Chicago Illinois. The capital of murder in the usa! yay!...

DOxReyder: Well got to be good at something

DOxCptCool: Lol

DOxCptCool: Yes I am a senior in high school right now.

DOxReyder: awesome what your plans after?

DOxCptCool: I am for sure going to college, i haven't decided where yet though.

DOxReyder: You going to try and stay in Illinois or gona explore else ware

DOxCptCool: Well im either going to the U of Minnesota (In Minneapolis) or Marquette (In Milwaukee so im going out of state for sure, not too far though :D

DOxReyder: All i heard is I like the cold

DOxCptCool: Hahahahaa

DOxCptCool: Yeah i prefer extreme cold to extreme heat. Ive been in -25 before :O

DOxReyder: ewww after this I'll need to go to take a hot shower

DOxCptCool: Yeah thats the kind of cold that just like attacks you, any exposed skin just automatically hurts horribly.

DOxCptCool: Well i would love to go pro, that would be amazing. I really doubt I will, but i think if i work at it hard enough I can. Anyone can really. It just depends if i have the work ethic or the time. In all honesty though, i couldn't see myself becoming a big name in sc2. Especially since im only getting more busy.
