EPTyes, it is I. Like I said in my last post, I wanted to blog a bit more than I was used to doing. Actually, I was planning to write a new entry sometime next weekend. However, 600+ views in a day gave me the feeling that I should do it earlier. Today, I'm just gonna talk about something awesome I just did, something cool that happend to me and my appreciation for Blizzard!
So, I don't know if you have heard, but yesterday (monday 4th of february) I organized a showmatch for the DSCL. Playing in this match where non other than Fanatic Harstem and Roots Rotterdam! Let me explain for sec why I chose to get these players into ths match. Basically, DSCL is a Dutch tournament. Well, it's Dutch when it comes to the organisation. You can play in it, only requirement is that you have to be able to get here for the live finals event on june 1st. As you guys probably know, both the players are Dutchies, so that was one of the reasons to get them. I really want to get the Netherlands out there as being a country that could support awesome E-Sports events. That is my dream, that is what I'm working for. After contacting them, they were both up for it and quite excited at that. Yay right:D I really want to express my appriciation for those players as they have helped us out a lot by playing the showmatch. So, that was number 1 on the list of things I want to talk about.
Second is the fact that Blizzard did something awesome for me. I'm what you could call, quite active in the SC2 scene at the moment, trying to get that promotion going, tweeting, playing, facebooking, emailing, organizing etc. Part of the promotion is, ofcourse, giving away Beta-Keys for HotS. Now, guys and galls, how would you feel if you have countless of keys in your reach, actually have a document full of them and you don't have one yourself! And ofcourse, my personal believes and ethics don't allow me to use one of them for myself, since they are mend to give away to you guys! So, I made a bit of an emo-tweet saying the following:

Guess what? It only took a matter of seconds before BlizzardCS replied and send me an DM with a Beta-key. This tells me that Blizzard actually keeps an eye out for their fans, helps them out and really wants them to be satisfied with the Blizzard-service (which is very good in my opinion). So, yes, I'll be playing HotS all day now. I know that I could just get the key by pre-ordering the game, but I want to get it at a game-launch so I decided not to pre-order. This gesture from Blizzard really means a lot to me as a fan.
That is actually all I have to talk about for now. Although, I could tell you about my plans concerning blogging for now. This entry may not be as interesting to you, but I really wanted to write it, since I see blogging as a way to express myself to 'the big world'. I'm planning to make an entry about this size every two days (or more if I got some interesting stuff that happened to me). They may not all be as interesting, you may not like them at all, but I hope you keep reading this and that I can tell you about my progress (or downfalls) in the awesome world of Starcraft 2!!
