I think it is awesome that MLG responded so hastily. It is good to know that everything was settled in a mature and understanding way. Of course there could have been legal stipulations in their policies somewhere they decided to just keep a fan happy and admit they messed up. Though perhaps a small issue from an onlookers POV I can understand the anger felt when intellectual property is used without permission.
Good on MLG and I am happy to see everything was settled in a good way.

That was Sheth's first tournament with Team Liquid. The announcement of his acquisition had only arrived the day or so before, if I recall correctly. He already had a lot of fans for just being a generally nice guy all-around, but being part of TL really buoyed his support amongst the fans. There was a HUGE crowd cheering him on at that feature station where I took that photo.
He looks so immeasurably happy.

MLGs website team seems rather suspect. They can't get their streams secured properly, mislabel their products, ignore copyright.

MLG messes up nearly all they do, but they also nearly always correct their mistakes, well done.

All trolling aside though, it is good this got settled with understanding by both parties. I just feel like you may have overreacted based on pure emotions. I'm not sure how I would have reacted in the situation so that is all I'm able to say about it.
The picture is a great shot too, non the less.

You wish to take a more active role for the community but makes a big deal over mlg using a photo you took at their very event?

I talk to itsjustatank before for some picture usage, he wants attribution and requests for permission. That's all. Very easy to work with if you tell him what you plan to use his images for, before hand.
This is not a money issue. People should ask permission (they're legally bound to), especially our standard-bearing Corps that should know better than this.

MLG is a good organization, resolving it so quickly shows this.
