This specific lady called 911 literally every single day of her life. She was the bane of our existence to the EMS world. Reminds me of a movie, but I can't quite recall which. Big shame for the loss D: You think someone else will become a frequent flyer soon?

I know a lot of firefighter paramedics, my step father is one and I was an explorer when I was younger. So incredibly sad when things like this happen, people who need assistance regularly, people you befriend, and in this case people who made your job difficult at times are so hard to let go. They completely become a part of your job, and it can hit a person very hard when they suddenly aren't, and having to continue just with the knowledge that all the memories you had of that person are the only ones you'll have. I'm sorry.

Constantly dozens are frequent flyers. You have to have empathy...compassion... One day your own grandmother can be the frequent flyer everyone dreads

I know in Germany, if you call 911 and it turns out fake you have to cover the cost of the ambulance and crew which is quite expensive. Are you really going to be the guy that charges some old lady (who may have Alzheimer's or something) for calling an ambulance every day? Sorry Snet. It's the little things that we miss the most.
