SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,
I was never into the whole DOTA phenomenon that all my friends were talking about back in the days. They seems to really enjoyed it but i never liked the idea of controlling only one heroe cause that seems too boring for me.
2 years ago, my brother and I decided to give it a try (1v1 Dota LOL) and we were hooked by it. It was so fun to play. Lucifer the Doombringer was so OP 1v1 so i dominated my bro hahaha. Then i eventually decided to play a team game after 1 week of hardcore "1v1 DOTA". Well, as many of you have already known the newbie-hostile attitude of the DOTA community. i got put off by people bashing me for no reason, so i gave up on it. Luckily, i made an account on playdota.com before i quit.
Recently, my two bros start playing HoN with the help of my cousin who just came back from China who's supposed to be very good at DOTA games. When i was watching them play i thought "well this is kinda fun isn't it?". By this time, i'm already accustomed with the internet so i'm thinking "Since DOTA 2 is coming out i might just wait for it and give it a try". So, this afternoon i decided to use my playdota.com account from two years a go and sign up for the beta key give away without much hope of getting one. I checked my email again before i went to sleep and a wild "message" appeared: "Congratulations on winning a Dota 2 Beta Key" with a bunch of "Pls Invite me" messages follow up. It took me about 10 seconds to realize "HOLY MOTHER (&#)@##)(&@#$()&)(*(*$#%@^". I was even more happy when i saw this sentence "...2 extra copies...", It perfectly fit with my two bros hahaha.
So, BIG BIG BIG thanks to the playdota forum "bot" for randomly choosing me, and big thanks to Valve for the two extra copies.
P.S. I have always been confident about my good luck and this just further proved that i'm right

Your English is fine, but just as a note/pet peeve of mine, it's P.P.S. not P.S.S. Because P.S. stands for post-script so P.P.S. would be post-post-script, which is weird but makes sense, on the other hand P.S.S. would be post-script-script which makes no sense.

Nice read :D quick question is says that your country is Australia but u have trouble with english? Isnt english they language that is spoken in Australia.

i'm assuming i'm clutching at straws here but are beta keys still hard to get held of? I've tried to get one since they announced it but never had any luck.
Reading some forums they seem to suggest loads of people got them but others seem to suggest they are still almost impossible to get.
Am i wasting my time at this stage trying to get one?
(sorry to go off topic but i didn't want to start a fresh post about a topic already discussed)

yorkey post in playdota.com thread that gives keys out randomly and sign up for the Steam survey are your best bets. You can also try looking for various giveaways on streams/twitter, but that's a lot more effort.
