http://soundcloud.com/dj-horuku/mikappe Compared to my last production (Ucliptic), this one is much more mellow and progressive. I spent a lot of time mastering, and overall I'm pleased with it. I feel like the kick is missing somewhat, but I decided to finish it up. I dedicated this to my brother who just had an appendectomy, so I tried to put some emotion into it  .Please leave any tips or comments (negative is welcome) ^^.  | ||

Just trying to keep it simple at the moment while I work on mixing. That's my biggest hurdle though, is song structure. | ||

Maybe a little repetitive given how upbeat it opens up, it lets go of a lot of energy and doesn't take it back. I think there may be room for another (and brighter) melody on top to give it more substance. Something more memorable than the stoccato melody and strings you have right now. Something light, whimsical, mellifluous. Otherwise, good engineering and dynamics. | ||
