Morning all(or i guess for some at least)
this is my first attempt at writing a blog so i apologize in advance if anything seems random or out of place.... i guess i really dont know where to start.... how bout dat dreamhack? I was actually fairly impressed with the production of the whole tournament and loved the format for the finals the casting couch was a nice touch...overall like i said was a great tournament at least for me :D
during this time i was also playing a small bit i have found myself slumping since the start of season 4, not sure why but if anyone has any advice on how to break the slump i would love to hear it lol. Other than that school has been the biggest inhibitor to playing and sadly it wont be better for another couple weeks, to a large degree ive pretty much missed season 4 because of it...hopefully though next semester i will get more of a chance to get back on the bike so to say and push for platinum.
Well im not sure what else really is on my mind at the moment other than im getting hungry...but thats a detail, anyway have a great day all and talk to you again soon!

Only way to break a slump is to keep on playing. Everything else is just an addition to 'Keep on playing'. If you can't find the time then eventually your MMR will balance you out to easier opponents and you'll start winning again. Then when you have more time to practice and play you'll rise back to your previous level no sweat.

anywho, about slumps... in your sitation you just need to set a time of day to play. If you have tons of hw, don't play though, but on days you have time, just sit down, and keep pushing that orange button. Lots of people have the problem of playing customs, idling in chat, alt tabbing to reddit/skype. What you need to do si sit down, play your 5 games, and be done with it. imo consistency is important, win/loss not so much.
