Soooooooo, I am a mid diamond toss on EU, and this game is really taking the life out of me. So in the last game where someone wrote "lol you're bad, uninstall please", I though: "Why not? I don't enjoy playing this game anymore."

So I am taking a big break from Starcraft II, probably a few months or more if I don't feel like I miss it.

But for now. Bye TL. And bye SCII

I know the feeling. Lately I'm actually managing to calm myself down though.

Starcraft 2 must be one of the few games that's not that enjoyable but very addictive at the same time. I don't know if it is because I'm growing older (24 in 2012) but I tend to gravitate towards game I can play at my own pace lately.

Yup, I quit Sc2 about a month ago and I'm happier now. Maybe I'll come back after several months, but the anxiety and stress makes me ask...why am I doing this. I'm not going to be a pro-gamer, and every game requires a more perfectionist approach to build orders, constant scouting and faster APM (its stressful enough already)! Its like a scary, tiring treadmill to nowhere. Now I enjoy skyrim instead

. And then diablo 3, maybe an adventure game. Something at my own pace (also chess is fun)

I just got back from taking a break for a few months... my experience is that when (if) you come back you'll feel a lot more relaxed about the game and not become as stressed as a result.

I know what you mean, I found a good fix in doing this at the start of the game:

Me: GL HF
f11 - block communication and then continue the game.
Mannered people are so selldom and people who are friendly at the start can be huge dicks at the end of the game especially if they lose. Someone said he hoped some of my family died at the holocaust which was the turning point for me.

Sad that when I watch replays I can still see their talk which oftenly contains random flames/insults I guess it proves that I should keep doing this.

I have been playing with allot less tilt which is great.

a lot of people playing sc2 really have some issues. The bm is just crazy on ladder
