There are people on Sc2 ladder that intentionally lower their MMR by instant-quitting the games. Today I ran into such a guy and got a free victory.
But then…
I ran into that guy again. I typed in “:-)” quickly before he left. Then I got in 2 more times. I got 4 free wins. Crazy, isn’t it?
Today I decided to measure my productivity more objectively. So far I was looking into the amount of games I play, but it’s very inaccurate. Sometimes I have an illusion of playing a lot, while in reality I just held off 3 six pools. Sometimes I’m exhausted after playing only 10 games because they were all 30-minute epic macro duels.
Those 4 free wins got me thinking. Do I also count that as “games played”? Screw that!
I’ve created a MS Exel spreadsheet that calculates time of pure gameplay every day. I just type in the game length that is shown after every day in the stats screen. It converts this game time into real time and sums it up for the day.
I’m curious how many hours per day am I really playing…
Am I really a pro in the making? Or am I just an amateur fooling himself that he practices a lot?
PS I fucked up the title again -.- I'm too used to "posting" first and double-checking and editing later. On TL I can't edit titles though :-P
