(and on a side note I'm glad ayatollah khamenei removed that fatwa, who knows where you would be now if you hadn't started noticing bisu!)

On October 23 2011 20:49 GG_NO_RE wrote: Klazart was one of the pioneers of bw English commentary, along with other people such as Rise, Cholera, Diggity, etc. He is commonly honored as the greatest bw commentator (along with Cholera), known for his excitement, metaphors ('nada feels the knife digging deep into his ribs'), and most of all wpm/speed, especially when a big battle was going on. No one could match how fast this man could commentate, and his intensity inspired all those watching to get involved with bw. Simply put, he and the rest of the original commentators got many people into competitive starcraft in the first place, and many people on teamliquid look back on him fondly as he might have been the one to get them into starcraft. A while ago he stopped commentating for personal reasons, but since then he's snuck back on a couple times to some commentaries (but hasn't done one for a good while yet). The OP took a shitload of audio files from Klazart's bw commentaries and put them onto this SC2 one. Since Nada and July were active bw players at the time Klazart commentated and are also now active SC2 players, he was able to create this commentary. Ty sir for the explaination ![]()

By the way, RSI is an umbrella term for any strain due to repetition. Perhaps you have tendinosis, like me. South Park got it wrong in that WoW episode. Carpal tunnel = numbness and tingling due to a pinched nerve. Cartman receiving Bengay is indicative of inflammation of the tendons, and not carpal tunnel tingling. "A predominance of pain rather than numbness is unlikely to be caused by carpal tunnel syndrome no matter what the result of electrophysiological testing." CARPEL TUNNEL SYNDROME : A REVIEW Gadhave S. V.1*, Moon R.S., Kshirsagar R.V. 1Department of pharmaceutics, School of Pharmacy, SRTM University Nanded-431606, Maharashtra. http://www.ijprd.com/CARPEL TUNNEL SYNDROME _ A REVIEW.pdf “When pain is the primary symptom, carpal tunnel syndrome is unlikely to be the source of the symptoms.” The Value Added by Electrodiagnostic Testing in the Diagnosis of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19047703 There's even a book called "It's Not Carpal Tunnel Syndrome!: RSI Theory and Therapy for Computer Professionals" http://www.amazon.com/Its-Carpal-Tunnel-Syndrome-Professionals/dp/0965510999 Tendinitis is the initial inflammation of the tendons, and tendinosis (chronic tendinitis) is the failed healing, and structural change of the tendons. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tendinosis Here are 2 open-access articles on tendinosis. Deciphering the pathogenesis of tendinopathy: a three-stages process http://www.smarttjournal.com/content/2/1/30 Pathogenesis of tendinopathies: inflammation or degeneration? http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2714139/?tool=pubmed Race horses are susceptible to tendinitis and tendinosis, as they’re massive creatures on twig-like legs, being pushed hard. They can’t race anymore if they’re tendinosis is bad, just like you can’t game anymore. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bowed_tendon Race horses are worth a lot, so stem cell treatments have been developed to save them. Open-access article on stem cell therapy and tissue engineering in equine medicine : Current and future regenerative medicine — Principles, concepts, and therapeutic use of stem cell therapy and tissue engineering in equine medicine http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2629419/ They’ve worked well on horses, and I believe human trials begin this year. They’re testing it on Achilles tendinosis, I believe: UK Stem Cell Company Cures Race Horse Tendons, Humans Next http://singularityhub.com/2011/03/10/uk-stem-cell-company-cures-race-horse-tendons-humans-next/ Stem-Cell Therapy Works Wonders for Race Horses; Are Human Treatments Next? http://www.popsci.com/science/article/2011-05/stem-cell-therapy-humans-horse-tested-vet-approved I wish we could petition them to get on the hand and arm area tendons quickly though. I can barely do anything with my hands =(. This could be a future support group:, http://www.reddit.com/r/RSI/ But it’s new, and has no regulars like an established support group like Sorehand, but Sorehand uses a mailing list format. Good luck, and check out Autohotkey for scripting, and Vocola for voice scripting to save your hands. I’ll make a tutorial when I can. I hope those researchers are successful.
