Me and videogames or "How I came to SC2?"
Well, let me go back in time:
I always loved to play RTS games, starting with Age of Empires 1 back when i was 7-8 years old. I really liked to play the campaign missions and some games vs. the AI. As AoE 2 came out, I switched to Star wars: Battlegrounds (which was just a SW version of AoE2) and played it for years, until I started playing CnC3 TW 2008. That was the first point I realized that games are played competitively - and I tried to compete, but failed miserably. Hotkeys were completly new to me.
Then suddenly, I saw a report on a german computer website about Starcaft 2, including some ingame pics and a video. First I was really confused and thought the game is trash, but as I read more and more about it, I deciced to go and just buy it.
When I started playing, I was afraid of playing 1v1, simply because I sucked at it. After 50 games of training league, I just said to myself: "Hey, just make these 5 placement matches at 1v1" and so I did them, ending up losing 4 games and won one because my opponent had a disconnect. But I kept on laddering, and just a few weeks later I got silver. And I did my best to get better, making new SC2 friends and discovering E-Sport the first time. Soon I began to rise... from Silver to Gold to Platinum to Diamond. This was in late January 2011...
"The Masters Challenge"-Project
From then on I felt pretty confident playing, knowing that I can look back on a fast ascend, but soon I began to see that getting Masters was not so easy, and I started playing more seriously and commiting into my ladder project, but I didn't got any results. For a long period I had winning rates of ~65%, but I didn't got promoted, so every loss made me rage really hard.
Now, I have a 76-56 record (If I counted correctly

So, I created the "The Masters Challenge" to have something to fight for.
But what does that mean?
I am promising to me that I will do atleast 15 laddergames a day. I will blog about it, and post some Replays. My goal is to reach ML to the 24.12.2011.
Why am I doing that?
Well, there are 2 main reasons:
1) I want to get Masters
![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif)
2) I want to show you, that EVERYONE (me going up from Bronze) can get good at Starcraft if you want to

Follow me on my way, including rage and emotions, heights and lows, wins and losses!
GG HF GL, thats all for now. I will continue by writing my blog for todays games.
(And BTW, sorry for my bad English, I really hope it is understandable, I really try to give my best
