Feeling pretty good today
I've played 6 games, and only lost one. every game except for the last two were against golds, and the other two was against plats, one of the top 8. I went from rank 16 gold to 7 gold today.

I've made a bet with a friend, that I would not rank up to plat by the end of this year. Do you guys think I can make it? Is braxis bravo a low gold division? :$

anyway just wanted to say this somewhere. thanks for all the support from TL ive gotten

The more you play and copy pro players builds the faster you will get to the top of the ladder. Eventually you can start figuring out adjustments you'd like to do to certain builds to make them more of your own.

Congrats on today, but just be sure to keep playing. The more time and effort you put into Starcraft II the faster you will reach your goals. GL.

hey, i'm basically in the same position and i'm pretty sure if i keep playing i'll be in plat by the end of september.. since so far it feels like if you really want to improve on lower levels, and you work for it, it's not hard at all.. so just keep playing and thinking about what to improve and you got it

1. There is no such thing as "high gold" or "low gold" or "high diamond" or "low diamond" or anything.
2. Rank means absolutely nothing, and neither do your points.
3. Just play more and you will get better.

With that said, stop focusing so much on "improvement" and "build orders" and start having more fun, and just focus on spending your money.

If you can just spend that money and expand when there are good places to, you will start rolling over people no problem.

I've never actually talked about my BO's, and if you read the blog i have a bet with my friend, so improvement is important right now. either way ranking up to plat is a measurement of my progress, and since ive been in gold for a few weeks i want to see progress

and i always have fun man! >:D

So I read that correctly you bet him you won't make it out of gold by the end of the year? So if you make plat you lose money and if you stay gold you gain money? Kind of silly you could just stop playing and get money

. But grats winning streaks always feel nice ^_^
