Hey guys!
So in one of the recent Day[9] Dailies on Newbie Tuesday he told everyone to post blogs saying they were looking for friends to play with. Well I am trying to round all those people up and get a Bronze-Gold team started!
We already have 7 people interested, 5 of which are already officially on the team and are still looking for more Bronze-Gold level players that want to join a team focusing on improvement. In a team setting you will be able to get feed back from multiple different sources in which to improve your game. Simply search for the word "Day9" in the blog section and you're gonna get all the thread similar to yours. As you might know he has quite a lot of followers, a lot of whom already have followed the same step as you.

Hm i may be interested in joining this. I'm high rank gold player. but i'm not sure if i'd be able to be on as much as other players on the team. would this be an issue? would we be required to show up for team tournaments if signed up for them? wat happens if we are unable to attend? other than sc2 chat, how else would we get ahold of eachother? AND what if we are gold and end up getting promoted to platinum?

I would be interested in playing with you guys to get better. I feel like I'm a Bronze league and I end up with a ~5,000 mineral trust fund at the end of every game (I think it's obvious that I lose). I think I have economic building down and if I could just work on spending all that damn mineral I'd be fine. I'd really enjoy playing with you guys and trying to increase eachother's skill.

All great questions.
First off, we understand that Starcraft 2 IS a video game and people have other things going on, so "not being on as much as other players on the team" won't be an issue. We will have weekly team PRACTICES to begin with and eventually go on to playing show matches and tournaments and the like, but practices aren't absolutely required, but encouraged. That being said, if you NEVER come to a single practice, and never participate with the team then you will be let go.
We will be using Skype in addition to ingame chat.
I want this to be an environment where people can get better at Starcraft and not have to worry about being stressed out all the time like people tend to get at low levels while laddering. Team members should never worry about win/loss ratio against team mates because it is just for fun and in the spirit of everyone improving.

If you get promoted to Platinum that is great! We want players to improve, I just want to accept Bronze-Gold initially so the low level players are not intimidated by people that are significantly higher then themselves.

one day you'll be the noobs all I think is needed for bronze- gold level players is really others to bounce things off of, everybody has the chance to be great, we just need the right motivation.
