I would like to imagine drug use happens in the eSports scene, but I can't. Everyone seems too chill and honest. But as for the idea of trying to play under the influence of something like an amphetamine.. I think the biggest thing I've noticed, after spending a few years fooling around with meth, mdma, and blow is that I don't think I could ever concentrate on a game long enough to see it through. At a low dose, if you could get ahold of yourself, and ignore all the feelings you are feeling, I don't see why it wouldn't be a bit of help. But of course, it could be the exact opposite. One of my friends in class did a very low dose of MDMA for his first time, and it was low enough that he wasn't like OMG I FEEL SO GOOD OMG! but just 'yeah, i'm chillin, feelin good'.. Anyway. He thought he was going normal speed, if not a bit faster, and he thought he was hiding it so well, but he was moving so slow and it was so obvious. A giant facepalm for everyone in the class. So, I suppose it would depend on the person. It would definitely be interesting to try. I've tried playing Counterstrike while high on MDMA and I couldn't do it. It was so much work and I just wanted to cuddle or roll around or sit on a swing or something. My mind didn't have the patience for strategies, and my arms wanted to just flop and cuddle. Haha. I've played while drunk before, and that can go either good or bad. Depends on how much I've drank. I tried playing Starcraft while drunk, but I ended up stopping and just talking to the person I was playing with instead of actually playing. I got obliterated, but, I made a friend. ^_^b /facepalm My conclusion: I don't think drug use would work in a game, even if it does 'heighten' your senses and let's your mind think freely and quicker. & No I don't think there is much, if any, drug use in the eSports scene. =]

Never tried it, but they told me it makes em really strong as far as the reaction and response time is concerned. Since Quake isn't an RTS and implies different mechanics than RTS like Sc2, it wont be the same I think. Some Koreans seem to be on drugs :D because of some unbelievable micro *trollin* =)

but speed def will improve your game. butdoesnt mean that you shioukld take it for sc2. it improves your attention mspeed and ego but its nothing to rely on. but can tell you that all non amphetamine based drugs will hurt your gamneplay no matter what they make you think. i play 90% of my games under some kind of drug(sup Tsn yo) and its stupid how much better i play when sober.

Taking any kind of speed and playing Starcraft is most definitely cheating in some way. I think they should do more drug tests on a professional level because there is no way this doesn't enhance or boost your performance in some way.
