Uh, I'm heading towards silver pretty quick.....I hope. I've had the game since around November after watching a MLG and just seeing how much the community cared about it, then I got some trial codes from a friend, and bought it nearly right away. One of my main idols is Jinro, just how good he is and how much of a nice person he has come across as, god damn he's awesome. I used to play a metric fuckton, nearly all day, then I found a job, I'm currently on around 4 hours a day on weekdays, but most weekends it's about 12 hours a day or so, last weekend I got my bonus pool from 1600 to 900 by just mass laddering. I've gotten around 3 IRL friends into it since that's been all that's came up on steam (MrSnibbles is now playing Starcraft II) and me just telling them how it is, one friend couldn't download it on his shitty British (probably Sky) internet, so he came round to install it off my CD, we played Brood War while the patch was downloading.....Good times :3 Since then all I've really been playing is SC2 I played some more BC2 for a while, but thought "I'm shitter at this than I am at SC2, I should just go back to it" so I did, then I think I started to get a bit better at it. I know I'm still awful, but I think there's still hope for me, maybe I could get to masters, maybe I just need to keep entering Craftcup (and get fucking placed against master league players) - more on that later, or maybe I just need to play a lot, lot LOT more. | ||

It may not feel like it, but that's a considerable amount of time. Have you considered getting some coaching? If you're going to put that much time into it you may as well have a coach lead you in the right direction before you spend a ton of time doing something inefficient! | ||

I've also started to FE in some games, I recently went hatch > gas > pool, and it worked wonders, it wasn't even close, which I'm pretty happy about. I've got my bonus pool down to around 660 which I still don't fully knows what it means, so if someone can direct me to a thread, or just explain it in here, that would be beautiful :3 I'm still closing in on 1st in my division, I know it doesn't mean shit, but finally, I'm nearly first in something. I tried my hand at casting with some friends today, fun as hell, I think I did ok, I'm not sure, if anyone's interested, just say "ololI'minterested" then I might post the stream link here. That's really it for today, I'll keep updating and what not, but hopefully I'll get in silver by Monday..... | ||

I feel damn accomplished, and what's more is that me and the friends I casted with are setting up a bit of a tournament, website and everything, man 2011 is going to be a good year for me. Also, I'm doing okay in silver I suppose, I could be doing better but for now, I'm happy where I am, even though I got placed 3rd in my division......Thanks Blizzard. | ||
