Maybe Blizzard should just quit the gaming industry and start mass online roulettes? I'm pretty sure they would make lot of Martingalers go broke.

Before the break I had win ratio against terran around 20 %, against protoss 70 % (good colossi build) and against zerg 60 % (shame on me for 4 gating). After few games and getting back to my previous perfomance level this changed as I somehow was rolling over every terran I played. And then I stopped playing them.

Calm down and play the game. Sometimes you flip a coin and get 5 heads in a row. Sometimes you don't.

I seriously doubt thats true, im currently on a 16 game streak without facing a zerg (TvZ is by far my worse matchup as im 13-3 in those 16 games and im playing 2500 diamond players). If someone has a better explanation of not playing a specific race I would like to hear it. Edit: what region are you in, I just assumed it wasn't giving me much zerg because NA has alot of protoss and fewer zerg (I dont know if that has changed in the past few months though)

If you are coming after a brake you should expect this. Seriously the level of play has increased and your abilities have stagnated it's normal.

You can predict the result already, so you don't need to practice as much against them. Now it's letting you practice your other match ups more, so you can do to them what you do to Terran. Because I just want to have fun. I don't care whether I need to improve in any of my MUs and I CERTAINLY don't want BNET to make the decission for me. If I'm significantly better (have higher MMR) in one MU than another, then BNET should just naturally match me with a T who has the same MMR, isn't that obvious? By the way, following this logic, if I lost on purpose every game against T would BNET keep on matching me with terrans till the end of world? Sometimes you flip a coin and get 5 heads in a row. Sometimes you don't. yea.. or 18 heads in a row On January 18 2011 05:20 WhiteLight wrote: Edit: what region are you in, I just assumed it wasn't giving me much zerg because NA has alot of protoss and fewer zerg (I dont know if that has changed in the past few months though) europe, 23XX-24XX diamond, I believe there's no terran shortage On January 18 2011 05:44 Szgk wrote: Is it possible that you have voted down terran-favored maps? only map i've ever voted down is shakuras

a more reasonable thing to calculate is the odds of any person getting a streak of X or more games on ladder without any opponents of any particular race the odds of this are much much higher
