One thing I've noticed is that I'm probably your archetypal anonymous TLer...I wish I had something (whether it be humor, quirkiness, awesomeness, or what have you) to stand out among the sea of coolio TLers, but I wish I could be a well-known/respected poster here. 1k, 2k, 3k, even 5k+ posts means absolutely nothing even if you're a generally high-quality (i.e. non-spamming) poster, because no matter how nice you are, you're not necessarily going to be particularly respected/known.

Anyway, I finished my homework before 6:30 today, which is a freaking record for me because I'm a king of time-wasting, which was a big reason for my happiness.

BUT I was going to play tennis but my partner bailed on me because he had a project due tomorrow that he didn't really do (oh the timing...I finish homework and can hit on a weekday for once, but my partner today can't because of homework BLARGH).
So now I'm stuck with my homework done and nothing to do because I'm not allowed to play on weekdays...boo...
Terrible, terrible thousandth post, but I wanted to write something so I don't keep waiting at 999 :/

In other, really late news as a sort of followup from my blog:
"1) How is the SAT? This could be a very premature or late question depending on your point of view; the nearest test is October 9th. I'm taking classes at this place called Ivymax, and I've been beasting the practice tests (which are essentially old SAT tests). However, every time I take them, I have a feeling that I screwed up horribly (i.e. I chose b/w two answers and I somehow end up picking the right one every time) and I'm working under a ton of stress/pressure. I've received three practice tests back so far, and I scored very high on all of them, but I keep thinking that each one is a fluke .__."
Long, belated story short (I always seek to be as modest as I can, but lately I realized that it actually doesn't pay to be very modest), it wasn't actually a fluke and it turns out I got 2400 with an 11 essay (october SAT).
Now I'm scared for the PSAT though, because I took the SAT soph year and don't want to prepare again for the PSAT come october when I'm a junior.....I didn't actually "prepare", but the practice tests I did taught me little tricks/anticipation/got me in the mood for the SAT, and I feel as if I had a huge memory dump after I took it ;;

Also, a random question: I only played a bit of BW a while ago and was so terrible at it I decided only to continue watching my beloved korean bw players. I then played a bit of SC2, was very mediocre but felt as if I could hit a really high skill ceiling provided I actually practiced. Question is: should I play SC2 and/or BW? BW seems a lot more interesting with extremely difficult tactics and a very deep and explored metagame, while SC2 seems to be a lot more of a "pick up and play" game, what with the new noob-friendliness.
Do I have to spend a LOT of time learning to play if I want to be any good at BW? BW seems to be a lot more rewarding once one gets the hang of it, with all these mindgames, strategies, tactics, apm requirement, game sense, etc., but it feels out of reach... ;__;
My friends are also split mostly to SC2 (which more people play anyway
) and there aren't as many people in general who play BW anyway. I'm also still terrible at BW. Advice?Thanks for reading! Here's something so this won't look like a giant wall of text:
