So awhile ago I posted a blog saying that I got a keyboard and finally started writing some dance music. I posted the result in a blog a while back, and got some awesome feedback that definitely helped alot. Heres a link to the original blog: http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?id=165330

But then my keyboard winded up breaking down and I had to send it back.

I just got it back today, but I was feeling tired and wasnt in the creative mood, so I decided to go back and use some of the feedback I got last time and see what I could do

I really like it. :o

The new version sounds a lot cleaner, and I thought the first ~1min of the original kinda dragged on too long.

this is an orgy in buildups, but you dont really give us that much of a beat to rave to when it all comes around

Nonetheless its absolutelly cool stuff, specially if this was your first production

. It's definately helped to have taken a Music Technology course at my high school. We learned alot about how waveforms, modulation and amplification work, so picking this up was really just appyling what I've been studying in school :D

Yeah. The song structrure sucks XD. The biggest thing I'm trying to work on right now is keeping it fresh. I tried to add more content to the chorus but I just feel that it gets stale after 2-3 bars. I've been studying how other artists are doing it, so its definately something I want to improve in my next production.
