12/28 6pm EST. ZvX with iNcontroL

12/21 6PM EST. ZvT with iNcontroL.

12/7

iNcontroL at 6PM EST. Don't miss it!

11/30 edit:

iNcontroL will be back on the stream tonight at 6PM EST.

As always, VODs will be uploaded after the fact.

I know TL generally frowns on this kind of self-promotion, but technically I'm plugging Incontrol, and not myself!

I'm sure most people know that Incontrol coaches aspiring gamers, and tonight he's going to be helping me out. He's also agreed to allow me to stream it, which means anyone interested can tune in to watch me play, while listening to his advice.

We're scheduled to start at 7PM EST, which is exactly an hour and a half from now!

My stream (though down right now) can be found here:
http://www.livestream.com/mrbitter

I play Zerg, so I'm expecting lot's of other aspiring Zerg users to tune in for the fun.

See you all then!

Why would a high level zerg take lessons from a protoss?

2k isn't really 'high level'

not on EU at least

Im sure incontrol is pro enough to be well versed in all the races. Obviously he probably can't play Zerg at pro level, but chances are, there is something that he could teach a Zerg even at the 2k level.
On my way...

For starters, I'm very, very mid-level. I'd like to become high level, but I'm far from that point now.

Second, I've got a decent grasp on strategy, build orders, etc. but still have many holes in my game in terms of decision making and control. Who better to advise me on that stuff than a pro?

Third, Incontrol's just a cool guy who's a blast to work with.

edit:

Thanks so much to you both for doing this. This is a really cool thing to tune into. I've been curious how much a couch can really impart on someone of a higher skill level vs how much is just working hard on your mechanics and stuff, but it seems like he still has a lot he can teach.

It's definitely great promotion. I still dunno if I'd get coaching, but I'd consider it way more now than I would have before.

I didn't expected too much from the gosucoaching thing to be honest, especially after some certain level where it's not teaching "noobs" anymore. But I'm really impressed. Incontrol does an awesome job of teaching/coaching.
That's a really good promotion I guess.

Incontrol is such a fantastic coach, speaks really well and pinpoints the issues quickly.

One of the few legit SC2 coaches out there imo.

I really liked the session, it was awesome. iNControl surely knows the game very deeply. It really humbles me to see that, a player I really admired and learned from(MrBitter) has still lots to learn ^^.
I really appreciated that, you guys made this coaching session public.
Keep up the good work!

Sorry to hear it, man, I hope Unc is doing ok.

I was able to round up a substitute iNcontroL so the night wasn't a total loss! lol.

This was a great, wonderful cast. I highly recommend that anyone whose confused, struggling, or just curious about something come and watch, regardless of race or rank.

Mr. Bitter is polite, speaks well, and overall intelligent. iNcontrol actually answered a query of mine, and did it in such great detail that I ended up writing alot of it down, because otherwise I'd forget!

All in all, I can say they've made a repeat viewer out of me. Thanks for all the help. ^_^

I'm glad inc said in the stream that he didn't send that queen on purpose, because I was seriously racking my brain trying to figure out why that was the right thing to do.

Just out of curiosity, why would you pay to protoss user to teach you ZvT ? wouldn't it make sense to get coaching from zerg or terran ?

From watching this lesson (and others) it's pretty apparent that iNcontrol can coach TvZ and most likely ANY matchup.

One more week = one more bump.

Tonight's session will be a little bit different from previous ones in that it won't be matchup specific.

I don't want to spoil anything, so be sure to tune in. 6PM EST tonight!

Awesome that you do that for the community - Geoff is an awesome coach... I'd probably at least share VOD's of my own lessons, but being a beginner, not many people here on TL would benefit/enjoy from those I think...

Good luck, sir! :-)
