How do you keep track of the TL posts.

I have been on the forums for about 2 years now but I find it really hard to keep track of the various forum posts. Do you guys load this up first thing in the morning and then go on every single post in red? Do you have any tips on how to surf this?

I can't seem to find out how to get one users posts (i presume that's banned?) and I can't find the "most rated" threads or most discussed.

What do you guys do for search to title and content by default? (atm it;s only title search from the front page).

I know the RSS Feeds for blog work , I keep track of that with my google reader, but if you guys had tips on how to keep tabs on the forums, that would be great!

I just post ina couple things then read them the next morning to see if someone answered

You can see direct links to users' posts in their profiles if you're looking to track a specific user.

i obsessively track every thread i'm interested in. each in its own tab.

yeah, i find this site lacking of any sort of tracking feature.
no "reply to" notification
no list of threads to "watch", nothing.

i pretty much end up posting and forgeting.

If I'm interested in a thread discussion, I generally comment on it (duh). So to track them I just go to the "posts" link in the upper left corner of TL. Set it to show threads, and you'll get a list of all the threads you've recently replied to.

You can open someone's profile to see what threads they posted in

If I don't see a red-foldered thread I'm interested in, I scan over the first 2 pages in each section until I find something I like, then just post in it. From there it's much simpler to keep track of how the discussion is going. If there's something you like reading, there's a pretty good chance you'll have some 2 cents to add so it doesn't look like you're just trying to save the thread into your post history.

For threads that're really intense and interesting... keep tab open and F5F5F5F5F5F5.
