Oh man, sometimes you see some weird stuff while laddering.
This week I had 2 very odd matches that ended really fast, they were actually funny in a way.
Kulas Ravine, I was doing the typical 14 gas 14 pool build, as I always do, I spread my overlords around my base to spot any cheese. 2 Min into the game I notice I small blue dot in the minimap, I put my cam over it and what was it? a probe and a pylon! oh noes!!
My inmediate response was to send a worker to kill the probe, the guy tried escaping but he ran towards the destructible rocks, I killed his drone and what happened next? ragequit.
I was actually surprised and amused by this, it was so random, first time it actually happened to me.
The second one was a 4 warpgate, I was in a disadvantageous position (5 zerglings and 2 roaches) I "built" 2 spinecrawlers to defend, by some miracle I managed to survive the push (4 stalkers + 3 zealots).
I then went for hydras, I build 3. This time I had 5 Roaches + 4 Hydras to defend. He tried pushing again, I killed his units and he gg'd instantly.
In this one I felt pretty "unsatisfied", I was sure that if he kept putting pressure he would've had won, but hey! I will never say no to a win!
Anyway, have you guys had this like very "odd" wins while laddering or doing custom games?
If so, share them here!
ps: I thought that this would be better in the blog section that anywhere else, so yeah^^

I played a TvT on Xel'naga caverns where I went for my normal strategy (fact/port into pure tank viking), and he went for early harass with a marine and a ghost. After I killed the SCV making a bunker behind my mineral line with a tank and cleaned up the push, he insta-left.
After watching the replay, he had over 1k minerals at about the 6 minute mark and no production other than that push.

I won with one stalker... Guy went like 14cc o.O Ragequit and called it a rush when I arrived.

I played a ZvP where I thought he was exping but when my scout looked he had 4 gates, and I was thinking "ohhh crap" but when I flew 3 Mutas into his probe line he instantly quit.

Psh, in Brood War, I played a TvP on HBR where I tried to wall in at my natural. The guy sends one probe, kills the SCV building the barracks, puts a pylon in my wall, steals my gas, and manner pylons my mineral line. I typed "gg" and left. I lost to one unit.
