For insults, you might want to use 'gråtrunkare' i.e. a person who frequently engages in said acts.

It's not really something you insult someone with.

It's more like, joke about yourself in a bad situation.

"My GF just left me, STX lost and I got fired from my job. I'm just gonna go to the toilet and grånka"

It's not a demeaning word, it makes the sentence ironical because the word is so.. well.. absurd. I've never heard it other than to make fun out of oneself.

Also. What kind of monster want to insult your friend that just got dumped? ~~;
