So I'm sitting in the Vancouver International Airport and I look out the window at my gate on to the tarmac and lo and behold, it's the Korean Air Starcraft 2 plane. Pretty cool, never thought I would get to see it in person.
Got a shitty picture on my iPhone, but oh well.
I was at gate 42C if anyone happens to be around and wants to see the plane.
EDIT:
Finally got around to uploading pic... I told you it was shitty, but i promise this was the real thing. Anyone else see it?

I'm going to the Vancouver airport in 30 minutes to pick up my dad lol.
|
upload even if its shitty imo!
|
That's funny, I have seen it there before. It must regularly run a flight that takes it there. Or it's been there for weeks
|
I've never seen it there
|
Heading near Richmond in a couple hours, maybe I'll get to see it fly off :D?

pics or didn't happen imo

omg epic!!!
I wanna see it :D

Yea lots and lots of koreans live in vancouver because of the distance to korea. Easiest way for koreans to get to canada, so I definitely understand this :D

no, lots and lots of koreans dont live in vancouver just because of the distance .. wtf rofl
|
lol, did i say it was JUST because of distance? Vancouver is the closest "Big canadian city" to korea, which is why there are lots of koreans there. Chill bro.
|
its the same reason why there are so many east asians in vancouver, closest major canadian city
|
|
The reason Vancouver has so many asians in general is that it's actually nice to live here haha. Compared to basically the rest of Canada. Although if it's business opportunites we're after, basically everywhere else is better tho.

Very true, the only thing Vancouver lacks is
A) Better weather in the winter (PLS OH GOD NO MORE RAIN) B) Business Opportunities, last I checked there are NO fortune 500 companies here
EDIT: Also
C) Affordable House Prices
|
put that picture it doesn't matter the quality...

Yeah, the fact that the summer weather is usually great doesn't make it any better that the rest of the year is rain, rain, and goddamn more rain.

Updated with pics! (sooooo bad)
Anyone else see it?

Yea I can make out the korean air sign and its clearly the same type of plane, although I can't see the SC2 image clearly.

Its the darker blue blob.

Unless you like winter sports, rain > snow in the winter.
Although rain in the summer kind of sucks...
on-topic - the korean air logo is more visible than the starcraft branding...but I presume the rest of the korean air fleet isn't painted light blue all over?
|
i love rain
so i love living here
oops, post 3333 oh wells
|
I love Vancouver! The mountains in the background look amazing... definitely moving there when I'm older.

It's true. It's just that, like anything, after living here and seeing them almost everyday from your backyard you tend to take the scenic mountains for granted. I'm sure I'd miss em if I lived in the flat prairies.

Snow > Rain anyday of the week. I guess you could prefer rain if you drive... but waiting for public transit, going around campus in pouring rain is just a total biatch.
|
WTF. What time was this at? I was at gate 39 at noon that day.

No, Korean Air is all light blue all the time, with the Red and Blue dot on the tail-fin.
I live about an hour and a half away from "Little Seoul" Virginia and right next to one of the biggest international airports... So I get all sorts of fun airplanes flying in.
No SCII plane yet!
