aka, certs look good on a resume, but they don't prove anything. Actual knowledge is more valuable than a cert. | ||

A+ cert is a good place to start, and not a bad thing to have certainly. It opens up the bottom of the building, which leads to many doors later | ||

CompTIA certs will get you interviews for entry level and low level jobs Microsoft certs will get you interviews for decent jobs 3+ years experience in something that isn't entry level will get you interviews for decent jobs Cisco certs will get you interviews for good jobs 7+ years Experience will get you interviews for good jobs | ||
